Singapore Visa Applicants

This information is for Singapore citizens checking the progress of their online visa application.

Singapore citizens holding ‘S’ Series Singapore passports may experience problems checking on the progress of their application through the department's query application status facility.

To identify if you are the holder of an ‘S’ Series passport your passport number will begin with an ‘S’.  To access this facility, you must not enter the ‘S’ and convert the letter at the end to a number using the following method:

• A=01
• B=02
• C=03
• D=04
• E=05
• F=06
• G=07
• H=08
• I=09
• J=11
• Z=10
  

Example: If your passport number is ‘S1234567C’ then enter ‘123456703’ by removing the ‘S’ and converting the ‘C’ to ‘03’.
