Clients experiencing ‘Internal file store’ errors

A number of clients have reported an 'Internal file store' error message when attempting to attach supporting documentation to their application. The common reason for this error relates to the name of the file where an ampersand (&) or an unknown character has been included in the file name. We encourage users attaching files to only use characters that are either:

  • a letter
  • a number
  • a dash or
  • an underscore.

To improve our systems, e-Lodgement (e-Visa and Citizenship) and LEGENDcom may become unavailable during scheduled system maintenance on:

  • Wednesdays from 6.00 am to 8.00 am AEDT (GMT + 11)
