Engineers Australia (IEAust)
Engineers Australia (IEAust) is the relevant authority in Australia with the responsibility for assessing overseas qualifications in engineering for recognition to practise in Australia in one of the three occupational categories - professional engineer, engineering technologist and engineering associate.
To be eligible for recognition by Engineers Australia (IEAust) you must hold an appropriate degree equivalent to Australian engineering qualifications and meet English language requirements as determined by Engineers Australia (IEAust). Demonstration of competency may also be required.
State/Territory registration is not usually required but membership of Engineers Australia is highly recommended for professional development and networking purposes.
