Employee Opinion Survey

The department conducted an online employee opinion survey in December 2005 as part of its reform agenda in response to the Palmer and Comrie reports. The survey will help management to better understand the department's workplace culture and how reforms are affecting staff.

The survey was designed to provide a broad assessment of the way the department went about its work, including how employees felt about their roles and their working environment, in order to focus on opportunities for improvement.

The survey was designed by International Survey Research Pty Ltd (ISR) and hosted by Davidson Trahaire Corpsysch. Final analysis was provided by ISR.
